Garden
Yes, the garden is open between April and September each year. Exact dates will depend on that years weather, check our footer for exact dates and times
No booking needed, we are open 11-5pm, Wednesday to Sunday (seasonal). If your party is larger than 15 people and you would like a personal tour, then we recommend making a booking.
Yes the garden is wheelchair accessible. We have gravel in our courtyard which can make it a little difficult, but please just let us know you are here and we will help you with this.
Yes, The Grinding House serves tea, coffee and homemade cakes during the garden season.

Yes absolutely it can. We can hold 55 people seated, 90+ standing. We also have space and seating outside weather permitting.
Yes, The Grinding House can be booked all year around. Note the garden will be closed October- March.
Accommodation
Yes. There is a Dublin bus service 65 from the bottom of our avenue (a 5 minute walk). However this is still a rural location and best to stay with own transport.
Our studio is suitable for wheelchair users, please just let us know beforehand and we will help with the Courtyard. The Turkey House and The Cowhouse both have concrete staircases and are not suitable for those with mobility issues. The Harness Room also has a wooden stairs.
We do not accept cats unfortunately as we have our own outside. Dogs are currently accepted in The Harness room and Studio, please let us know beforehand. We cannot accept any restricted breeds, and dogs must be on a lead at all times when outside. No exceptions as we also have dogs here at the garden.
